Delete your Wallaby account

How to close your account and what happens to your data.

You can delete your Wallaby account at any time, and you do not need to ask us to do it.

Delete it yourself, in the app

  1. Open Wallaby and go to Settings.
  2. Scroll to Account and tap Delete account.
  3. Confirm by typing delete my account.

This happens immediately. Your account and everything attached to it are removed from our servers in a single step, and you are signed out.

If you cannot open the app

Email support@vanedge.com.au from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete your account. We will confirm and complete it within 30 days, and normally much sooner.

We ask you to write from the account address because it is the only way we can tell it is you — we hold no other identifying information to check against.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes, from our servers, your account record and every row attached to it: your sign-in identities and sessions, your usage and billing-period records, any feedback you sent us, and the diagnostic counters attached to your account.

There is no meeting content on our servers to delete. Wallaby never stores your meeting audio, transcript or notes on our servers — audio is transcribed as you speak and never written to a server, and your notes live on your phone. That is the design, not a setting.

Your notes are on your phone

Because your notes are stored on your device, deleting your account does not remove them from the phone. To remove those as well, either use Settings → Advanced → Erase data from this phone before deleting your account, or delete the app afterwards.

What we keep

Nothing that identifies you. Server logs contain no meeting content and no notes, and aggregate counters that carry no account identifier — totals by day, and error counts — remain, because there is nothing in them to trace back to a person.
